This week our Project Development Manager, Angus Thomson, spent a glorious spring day volunteering at the Argyll Countryside Trust (ACT) Rainforest Hub, located upon the grounds of Kilmory Castle, Lochgilphead. The day started with coffee around the camp fire, followed by a walk through the rainforest gardens of Kilmory Castle. In the afternoon the group of volunteers, including representatives from JP Morgan, Balfour Beatty and DRAX, were put to work digging and laying a new path through the rainforest to connect the ACT Rainforest Hub to their new tree nursery. It was great to meet some of the ACT team and learn more about the essential work that ACT is undertaking across Scotland. We look forward to continuing to collaborate with ACT as the High Brenfield Wind Farm project progresses.
